CAKE

1991 heralded the forming of one-of-a-kind band CAKE in Sacramento, California. In 1993 they self-released their first album "Rock n' Roll Lifestyle" which managed to climb the US Modern Rock Tracks chart. After they released their professionally produced debut album "Motorcade of Generosity", the Indie band signed with Capricorn Records. Their first true hit came with the 1996 album "Fasion Nugget" and was entitled "The Distance". From then on, CAKE had several more radio hits with their future albums.
Truly, the band CAKE can be deemed unmistakable. Between the refreshing trumpeting of Vince DiFiore and the distinctive voice of John McCrea, CAKE has no pop peers and can be classified as Indie.
